BR resident Tofuti Klein’s recent release, Dragon’s Disco/Echo’s Calling EP is her second with BR under the moniker, and has seen her move to making ‘romantic techno’; love letters to spooky organs, dance floors and tundra spirits.
Her ‘The Ghost of Marimba’ project is a slow-burn exploration of paradise imaginaries, nostalgia, longing, and romantic hedonism. It sounds like lo-fi tropical midi pop. TGOM (dub), a slice of spooky reggae, features on BR’s ‘Beach Trips’ sampler EP.
